Duane "Doc" Clark Causie 2/16/1931 - 9/27/2025

It is with great sorrow that the family of Duane "Doc" Clark Causie announces his peaceful passing on the 27th of September, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, two sons, Paul and Matthew (and wife Faith), James, who preceded him in death, two grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Duane was born in Atlas, Michigan on February 16th, 1931. He joined the Navy medical corp when he was only 17 and made it his career for 23 years, where he went from combat medic to hospital administration. After retiring from the Navy, he joined the University of California at San Diego medical facility as an administrator. Duane relocated to Auburn when his first wife, Mary Edith, became ill. After her passing, he became an active part of the Auburn community with the local theater, Elk's Club, golfing, Navy League, among other activities. &emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp; The Nautical Society is responsible for the arrangements. We will miss you, Duane. Yours was a life well lived. &emsp;&emsp;
