Dust off the skates: The Folsom Ice Rink is back

It's almost that time of year again, when the temps start getting chilly, holiday decor comes out and the beloved Folsom Ice Rink is back in Historic Folsom, inviting the community to glide into the holiday spirit. The Folsom Ice Rink announced its grand opening is Saturday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m., officially kicking off its 15th holiday season. Each winter, the plaza transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland where fa.m.ilies, friends and skaters of all ages come together to enjoy the holiday season. From date nights under the lights to festive group outings, the Folsom Ice Rink is where the community gathers to celebrate the magic of the season. Skate session times All sessions are 90 minutes. • Monday-Wednesday: 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. • Thursday-Sunday: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. Holiday break hours • Thanksgiving break (Nov. 24-28): 10 a.m.-8 p.m., every two hours • Christmas break (Dec. 22-Jan. 1): 10 a.m.-8 p.m., every two hours Folsom Ice Rink officials advise buying tickets in advance online at FolsomIceRink.com for the best way to secure your preferred session time — because sessions fill quickly.
