Roseville police log: Tire, wheel thief leaves lug nuts behind

Editor's note: Arrest reports are released by the Roseville Police Department. Dec. 12 At 10 p.m. on Antelope Creek Drive, the victim reported their vehicle was tampered with between 10 p.m. the previous night and 9 a.m. the following morning. Upon returning to the vehicle, the victim discovered it was supported by concrete blocks with all four wheels and tires removed. The suspect(s) left the lug nuts at the scene. Dec. 9 At 9 p.m. on Lee Way, a victim parked a work vehicle on a public street. At 8 a.m. the following morning, they discovered the rear driver-side window of the pickup had been shattered. Approximately $3,000 worth of construction tools were stolen from the vehicle. Dec. 7 At 3 p.m. on Laurel Drive, two suspects arrived in a dark-colored sedan and parked near a victim's residence. The suspects gained entry to the unoccupied home and stole several items, including a handgun. The suspects fled the scene in the same vehicle. At 11:41 a.m. on Nevada Avenue, while a resident was away from home, two electric scooters were left on the front porch. At 11:45 a.m., an unidentified male arrived on a bicycle, abandoned the bike at the scene and fled with one of the electric scooters. Dec. 5 At 9:16 p.m. on Douglas Boulevard, a victim arrived at their workplace at 5 p.m. and secured their electric scooter to a bike rack. Upon ending their shift at midnight, the victim discovered the scooter and lock had been removed. At 1:29 p.m. on B Street, a victim attempted to purchase shoes for $205 after seeing an Instagram advertisement. Communication moved to WhatsApp and FaceTime audio, where the suspect sent $2 via Chime to falsely establish trust. After the victim sent a partial payment of $105 via Apple Pay, the suspect disconnected the call and blocked the victim on all platforms. Dec. 3 At 9:30 p.m. on Herbert Street, a victim last observed a child's mini motorcycle in his front yard. At 8 a.m. the following morning, a neighbor alerted the victim that the motorcycle had been taken. Surveillance footage showed a white SUV in the vicinity before the theft. Dec. 2 At 2:13 p.m. on Fairway Drive, a victim commuted to work via e-bike at 4 p.m. and secured it with a chain lock on Dec. 1. At 11:59 p.m., the victim discovered the bike was missing, and the lock had been bypassed. A search of the immediate area was unsuccessful.
