Roseville needs shelter for homeless people

My family moved to Placer Couny from the Bay area in 1964. My dad, Billy, worked for Southern Pacific, which is now Union Pacific. We lived on Bitner Street, off of Main Street, while our house was being built in Rocklin. I was 11. We would go to Royer Park to play. That's when I learned about homeless people, and I was very upset.Since then, I've had a heart to the homeless. I've helped them personally, through my church, Abundant Life, as well as through other churches and private and public agencies. What is needed in Roseville now is a homeless shelter. How would you like to sleep outside in the cold? We are all God's children, and some of us need more help than others. How can anyone enjoy their lives, when so many people are suffering? I know Roseville has compassion, for I live on Main Street and I love this neighborhood.So please give homeless people the help they really deserve.Let's not just make the old buildings look better, but make homeless people's lives better.
