Auburn Journal has its act together

We also get the (Sacramento) Bee but the paper that gets the most wear and tear, so to speak, is the Journal. Love to read the opinions of those who take the time and make the effort to participate in being a citizen of this great country.It gives me great pleasure to think that these are "thinking" people who understand how this country was founded and the sacrifices that were made to make it what it is. We owe it to our ancestors to keep and cherish it forever.If more people would participate in contributing articles like I see in your Journal, no matter what their political association might be, perhaps it would set an example toward overcoming this scourge of non-cooperation with the opposite party. Perhaps we could have a Congress and Senate that works together no matter what the minor party's nomenclature happens to be. What a strengthening it would give our county and especially our government. It would make us the envy of the entire world — and a true democracy. Suffice it to say that I love your whole paper. The sports and news is well-covered and the writing more easily absorbed because you have good writers. You guys and ladies seem to have your act together, even if the country doesn't.
