Leanna Callahan, Mark Thibault exchange vows

Former Colfax residents Leanna Callahan and Mark Thibault exchanged marriage vows July 6 at the Newcastle Wedding Gardens.The new Mrs. Thibault graduated from Placer High School, California State University, Sacramento and National University. Prior to the wedding, she was a seventh grade teacher at Colfax Elementary School and worked as a DJ at STAR 94.1 FM radio station in Grass Valley.She is the daughter of Jack Callahan of Fernley, Nev. and the late Linda Callahan.Thibault has worked for 20 years as a chef and is now employed as an OTR driver for KLLM Transport.He is the son of Duane Thibault of Esparto and the late Vicky Thibault.Matron of honor for her sister's wedding was Amy Sorensen of Rocklin.The groom's daughter, Victoria Gettys of Sacramento, was a bridesmaid. Lillian Gettys of Sacramento, the groom's granddaughter, served as the flower girl.Best man for his brother's wedding was Michael Thibault of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The groom's son-in-law, Aaron Gettys of Sacramento was a groomsman.Following a reception in the Newcastle Wedding Gardens, the couple honeymooned on the islands of Maui and Hawaii.They are now living in Fernley, Nev.
