Biz Buzz: Tres Roseville unveils fall cocktail menu

Tres Tequila Lounge and Mexican Kitchen at the fountains unveiled a new cocktail menu last week in honor of Mexican Independence Day, which was Sept. 16. Tres spokeswoman Ashley Miller said the new fall menu is designed to put a tequila twist on classic and popular cocktails. An example of the new menu is the Zapatos Nuevos, made with tequila blanco, Cointreau, ginger puree, watermelon and lime juice. Other cocktails include the Kentucky Margarita, El Diablo and the Mexican Mojito.…The Placer County Business Advantage Network will hold a Retail and Holiday Hiring Event from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 30. Several local companies will be at the event, which will be held at the University of Phoenix campus, 516 Gibson Drive #100 in Roseville, to accept resumes and conduct interviews for the upcoming holiday season. The new designation recognizes accredited hospitals and critical-access hospitals that attain and sustain excellence on benchmarks that measure how well they treat a variety of serious medical conditions, according to a statement.…Bayside Church in Roseville will host nationally-syndicated radio talk show host and author Dave Ramsey in a live simulcast from Dallas from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30.
