Jesus was a liberal

Liberal: to give freely; to forgive; not subject to common prejudices; favorable to individual liberty.Conservatives label Liberals as Godless. Well, Liberals are not Godless. Liberals are comfortable with God and embrace God's word. Liberals love a God who is personified by a Liberal Jesus Christ, Son of God, Messenger of His word. Jesus Christ is the most famous Liberal in Christian history. With a capital L. While nailed to a cross, Liberal Jesus was forgiving his executioners. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps today's Christians would do the same — to forgive while dying at the hands of madmen — but only if they were crucified during Church service. Church hour is that single hour a week when Conservative Christians act like unbridled Liberals: they openly love, they easily forgive and they gladly give tithes (taxes). That leaves 167 hours a week to act like Conservatives, lest they forget and drop their judgmental attitude.The Ten Commandments all begin with: They shalt NOT… (the guilt thing), rather than, Hey, folks, enjoy life. You're only here once! That is, unless you're a Liberal and believe in re-incarnation and will keep coming back until you, um... whatever.Had Jesus NOT been a Liberal, Christianity would be based on hatred, not Love. Unfortunately, the Christian religion has taken such a horrible twist that today's Christians have become lost sheep in dire need of their Liberal shepherd.So, take a God-Loving, forgiving Liberal to lunch.
