William Edward Peer8/8/1918 - 12/7/2005William Edward Peer passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at home in Roseville, CA aged 87 years. He was born August 8, 1918 in San Francisco, CA.William graduated from Rose-ville High class of 1936 and served our country in the U.S. Navy for two years during WWII. After his service in the Navy he went on to work for Southern Pacific Railroad retiring in 1979 after 40 years.He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Margeritha Peer and his son Marvin Peer.William is survived by his wife of 13 years, Marian Peer; daughter Elaine (Bob) Ehnisz and a sister Dorothy Chamberlain. He has 3 grandchildren: Tammy, Brandy and Troy, as well as 5 stepchildren: Charles Morrill, Dianna Hernandez, Dennis Morrill, Sharon Keys and Stanley Morrill; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, 103 Lincoln St., Roseville, CA 95678. Interment at Roseville Public Cemetery, 421 Berry St., Roseville, CA.Arrangements were entrusted to Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses. (916) 783-7171.Bernice J. Bath8/31/1916-12/7/2005Bernice J. Bath was born in St. James Minnesota on August 31, 1916, and died on December 7, 2005. After high school graduation she became a cosmetologist. She met and married a war time sailor, Al Bath, in San Francisco in 1945.After the war they settled in Long Beach, CA and had two children, Julie Ann (1947) and Linda Jo (1952). After 52 wonderful years of marriage, she lost her beloved husband and friend. In 2002, Bernice moved from Long Beach to Granite Bay to be near Julie and her husband David Stringham, the son she held so dear. Being a gardener, she loved her new home because of the natural beauty and change of seasons.She was surrounded by cherished family in Northern California; beloved sister-in-law, Miriam Bingham; nieces and their husbands Carolyn Chase and Marilyn Boukather; their children and families Cristi Tanner, Chad Chase and Brett Boukather; her dear grandchildren, Amy Mueller and husband James and grandson Paul Stringham; youngest daughter, Linda Hynes; her children Gabriel, his wife Delcie and Kimbery Hynes who live in Long Beach, CA. In Southern California are nieces and nephews, Bruce Bingham and his wife Betty, Jeff Bingham and his wife Greta and family, Kathleen Stube and husband Mike and grand-niece Ken Berry and family. Linda's daughter Jennifer and family live in Phoenix.Bernice was a faithful servant of her God and Savior. Celebration of her life will be in Southern California at Forest Lawn, Cypress on December 15, 2005. She will then lie next to her husband, Al.There will then be a memorial service at Valley Springs Presbyterian Church, Roseville, on December 19, 2005 at 11a.m. No flowers, please. Memorial gifts my be made to the Long Beach Rescue Mission in Long Beach, CA or the Child Abuse Prevention Council in Roseville, CA.Arrangements by Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA.Dorothy Davis Wheaton12/3/1930 - 12/8/2005Dorothy Davis Wheaton passed away December 8, 2005 in Roseville. She was born December 3, 1930 in Polk City, Iowa.She had been married to John W. Wheaton who preceded her in death on June 8, 1991.Dorothy is survived by her brother, Harold Davis, several nieces and nephews and their families.We will all miss her warm hugs and kisses and love her forever.Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of her life December 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Roseville First Church of the Nazarene, 1301 Main St., Roseville, CA 95678.Interment will be private at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon with her husband.Arrangements are entrusted to Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses. (916) 783-7171.William P. Miller3/13/1922 - 12/6/2005Passed away peacefully on December 6, 2005, in Carmichael, CA, at the age of 83. Bill was born on March 13, 1922, in Tonopah, VA, moved to Roseville, CA in 1930, and graduated from Roseville High School in 1940. He was a resident of Sacramento for the past 42 years.After serving in the United States Coast Guard during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Admiral C.F. Hughes AP-124, Bill worked for 39 years at McClellan Air Force Base and retired in 1986 as a project manager for F-111 aircraft. Bill was a member of the Ben Ali Temple and Roseville Masonic Lodge No. 222.Bill is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Connie; daughter Kelly Hampson of Sacramento; son Paul Miller of West Sacramento; brother Robert Miller of Roseville; and cousins Violet Miller of Sparks, NV, Ed Vukson of Reno, NV, Marko Bojic of Milwaukee, WI, John Boich of Toronto, Canada, and Nikola Boich and Danica Boich of Croatia. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Annie Miller.A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane.
