"Pat" Blunt2/28/1941 - 10/23/2006Born in Napa, Calif. on February 28, 1941, Patricia Blunt passed away in Roseville, Calif. on October 23, 2006 after a brave but brief battle with cancer at the age of 65. She was the devoted wife of almost 45 years to Larry G. Blunt of Citrus Heights, Calif., and cherished mother to Kelly Croteau and her husband, Dave, and Kathy Bennett and her husband, Rick.She was preceded in death by her son, Larry David Blunt, who was waiting with open arms! She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barbara Hinnenkamp, who had the slots in heaven warmed up for her!She was loved and will be missed by her six grandchildren: Christopher, Katelyn, Jennifer, Connor, Kelsie and Cierra. She was the devoted sister-in-law to Claire and Bent Carstensen and their three children, Shannon, Jaime & Lindsey. She also leaves behind her mother, Rose Carey of Sonoma, three sisters, Delores (Edmund), Sue (Ray), Barbara (Cliff) and two brothers, Davey (Rose) and Gary (Hope) and her many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many friends, with whom she shared a special bond.Services will be held at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow. There will be a reception following the services (directions provided at the service). Friends and family are invited to attend. Please share any special moments you remember about her.Please sign the online guest book at http://www.legacy.com/rosevillept/Mabel Jean Page10/28/1921 - 10/23/2006Born October 28, 1921 in Missoula, Mont., passed away on October 23, 2006, in Orange, Calif.She was a resident of Roseville for the last 10 years, and more recently for the last two months in the city of Orange, She had also lived in Compton and Fullerton, Calif. for over 40 years, retiring to Sedona, Ariz. but returning to Calif. in 1996.Mabel was a retired administrative assistant and office manager for the City of Fullerton's Planning Department, having worked in public service for more than 30 years, including the city of Anaheim and the Orange County Courts. She was the recipient of numerous employee recognition awards over the years. During World War II she was employed as staff to the medical unit of Todd Shipyards in San Pedro, where battleships were repaired during the war.She was very active in the Retired Public Employees Association (RPEA) having helped to establish a chapter in the Flagstaff/Sedona, Ariz. area. After moving to Orange, she became a charter member of the Park Plaza Red Hat Society, of which she was very proud.She and her husband Charles W. Page, Sr. would have been married 68 years this coming November 4. However, she was preceded in death by Charles, who died April 3 of this year. Also preceding her in death were her siblings Doris Reed and Louise Yerby, an infant son and grandson Charles W. Page, III. She is survived by her sons Charles W. Simmons4/22/1912 - 10/24/2006Dorothy P. Simmons, born on April 22, 1912 in Wardner, Idaho, the loving daughter of Thomas John and Sarah Jane (Dyer) Perry, passed away on October 24, 2006 in Orangevale, Calif. at the age of 94 years.Dorothy grew up in Butte, Montana, where she was a member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. In 1933, Dorothy moved to Grass Valley and was a 74-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as a Worthy Matron in 1944.She was also a member of The White Shrine of Jerusalem and the United Methodist Church. Dorothy also worked for many years for the Nevada County Assessor's office.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alison Simmons, her parents, and her brother, Garfield Perry. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Jean Lenaburg and her husband, Don; sister-in-law Alice Simmons, and her niece, Karen Simmons.A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, Calif. Neubauer5/18/1933 - 8/1/2006Long time resident of Roseville and Placer Co. area, passed away in Boise, Idaho.He is survived by his wife Joan Neubauer of Fruitland, Idaho; five children Rodney and Ronald Jr. Neubauer of Roseville, Barney Neill of Loomis, Brenda Jemmett of Bosie Idaho & Deana Miller of Whitehouse, Tex.; two brothers and one sister; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.He was preceeded in death by one son Robert Neill, Greenville Calif. on May 16, 2006 and two sisters, and two brothers.
