Mildred Dorothea Glidden2/3/1917-1/30/2007 Mildred Dorthea Blomgren Beaton Glidden was born in Helena, Mont. February 3, 1917. She passed away in Roseville, on January 30, 2007. She is survived by her son; Jerry Beaton of Amarillo Texas, his wife Tammy; their children Julie, Kim, Shawn, Todd, Lacey and Matt; daughter Ferol Stanford of Granite Bay, husband Tom; their children Scott and Kerstin; 11 great- grandchildren; three great- great - grandchildren; and her sister June Blurton of Roseville. Peer was born on August 6, 1919 and lead a wonderful fulfilled life until her death on January 29, 2007. She was born in Toledo, Ohio. She eventually moved to California where she spent the remainder of her life as a retired tenant of The Roseville Care Center. Betty is survived by her loving son Craig Peer. He was born in Spokane, Wash. on March 22, 1914 to William Hunter and Minnie Aulwes. His family, which included older brother, Warren (now deceased), would grow to include brothers Merle (also deceased), James, Duane, and sister Veramae, and move from Spokane to Paradise, Mont. and to Roseville in 1923, where they settled on D Street. Sib was a locker boy and then lifeguard at nearby Johnson's Pool. He graduated from Roseville High in 1933, where he was a wonderful athlete, lettering in football, basketball, baseball, track, and swimming. He married Martha Pfosi in 1937, and had two sons: Edward and Douglas, five grandchildren: Rosanna, Jacob, Susan, Jose, and Michelle, and 2 great-grandchildren. From 1936 to 1976, Sib was a machinist for the Southern Pacific Railroad. He loved fishing, golf, bowling, and growing and tending roses. With Martha, Sib traveled to faraway places like Hawaii, New York, Europe, Honduras, Israel and China. A Christian, he was a member of Foothills Community Church on Cirby and later, The First Southern Baptist Church on Coloma. In 1985, his beloved Martha went to be with the Lord. Sib married Nettie Roden in 1997. He became part of a large and loving family, which included Nettie's children: Judy, Shirley, Barbara, Ron and Larry, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchild- ren. He even had a Wiener dog named Lucy and a cat called Tiger to sit on his lap. On February 3, 2007, Sib left Roseville for Heaven. God bless you, Sib, and thanks from all your family and friends. We miss your laughter, your generosity, your kindness, and your silent and still, loving blue eyes. Carpio Jr. passed away at the Sacramento Veterans Hospital on January 27, 2007 at the age of 60. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to all, and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 beautiful years, Maria Myrna V. Carpio; and daughters, Leilani Hammock and husband Charles, grandchildren John, Aeris and Aidan of Rocklin; Beverly Novoa and husband Rafael, grandchildren Anjelica and Kaela of Antelope; Son Roger Carpio of Sacramento. He is also survived by his mother, Antonia Carpio of Gilroy; sisters, Betty Devitt of Sacramento, Ester Howe, and Mary Ann Hunter, brothers, Carl Carpio and Anthony Carpio all of Gilroy; as well as many nieces and nephews. He grew up in Gilroy Calif. and has lived in Rocklin, Calif. for the past 21 years. John was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, he served with the 52nd battalion in the U.S. Army from 1966 and 1970. John worked at NEC Electronics in Roseville as a supervisor from 1983 - 1992. John was an avid sports fan who loved local High School Sports. Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 9th, 2007 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00p.m. at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. He attended grade school in Colfax and graduated from Placer High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army July 1945- December 1946, having served in the Panama Canal Zone. Tucker worked at a local Ford garage, then began his employment as a signal man with the S.P.R.R. until his retirement in 1987 after 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda and Alexander McCullough; sister Eleanor and a brother, Raymond. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Julia McCullough; sons Mark McCullough and his wife, Sherri, David McCullough, Steven McCullough and his wife, Tara; daughter Angela McCullough; grandchildren Rose Corley and her husband, Scott, Matthew, Kerry and Stephanie McCullough; and sister Aileen Andersen of Washington. Friends and family are welcome to attend memorial services on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA. She was born in Buena Vista, New Mexico on April 26, 1930 and she had been a longtime resident of Citrus Heights. She enjoyed many things including softball, bowling, bingo and playing cards. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her family and friends, especially for holiday gatherings, she always made time to play with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Ted Bustos and his wife Cindy of Foresthill, Russell Bustos and his wife Helen of Hollister, Mark Bustos and his wife Vicki of Lincoln, Dorothy Hernandez and her husband Joe of Roseville, Phyllis Cruz and her husband Pete of Roseville, Christina Leal of Roseville, Jackie Gonsalis and her husband Gill of Pioneer, Karen Denhart and her husband Fred of Escalon; also survived by brothers John Laumbach of Shingle Springs, Richard Korte of Orangevale, Tom Korte and his wife Diane of Roseville, sisters Clara Perez of San Francisco, Alice Perez of Citrus Heights, Bertha Hunter and her husband Jack of Missouri and Lois Korte of Elk Grove; sixteen loving grandchildren; seventeen loving great- grandchildren; and many in-laws; nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her special friends Betty and Herman Vinson, Helen and Mike Leal, Vivian Cabral and the Martinez Family.
