Larry David Blunt7/26/1971 - 1/30/2005 Born in San Jose, CA on July 26, 1971 and passed away in Sacramento, CA on January 30, 2005 at the age of 33. Larry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Hinnenkamp who was waiting with open arms for his arrival! He is survived by his devoted parents, Pat and Larry Blunt of Citrus Heights, CA. He is also survived by his sister Kelly Croteau and her husband Dave Croteau of Roseville, CA; and his sister Kathy Bennett and her husband Rick Bennett of Roseville, CA. He will be dearly missed by his nephews and nieces; Chris Croteau, Katelyn Bennett, Jennifer Croteau, Connor Bennett, Kelsie Bennett and Cierra Croteau all of Roseville, CA. He will be dearly missed by his grandmother, Rose Carey of Sonoma, CA and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a trusted friend to many and will be remembered as "a friend for life." Services will be held at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA on Friday February 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will immediately follow. There will be a reception following the services at his parent's house (directions will be provided at the service). Arrangements by Chapel of the Valley.Donald Joseph Beck 11/23/1925-2/2/2005 Donald Joseph Beck born November 23, 1925 in Mt. Oliver, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in Lincoln, CA on February 2, 2005 with his nieces and nephews by his side. He died after a long courageous battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his son Donald H. Beck of Littleton, Colorado; two granddaughters in southern California, and seven great grandchildren, including ten nieces and nephews and their families. Donald served his country between 1944 and 1946 obtaining the rank of Fireman 2/C. Duties included servicing equipment for divers in the process of raising sunken ships at Pearl Harbor. After the war, and working a few different jobs in Pittsburgh, Donald tried his luck in California. First working in Buena Park and then in Lodi as a big rig mechanic. Later moving to Roseville, California where he has spent the last twenty years. Born in Silverstreet, South Carolina, on April 25, 1911, to John and Lillie. She was one of 12 children, 5 girls and 7 boys. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Lovell. She is survived by her only daughter and son-in-law, Lovelle and Don Freeman of Rocklin, her two grandchildren, Michael Freeman (Kathy) of Rocklin and Randy Freeman (Susan) of Fair Oaks and her beloved great-grandchildren, Bradley, David, Nicole and Ryan Freeman. She leaves behind her sister, Maude Marett from South Carolina and special niece, Frances Blake from West Virginia. Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her and will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was always thinking about everyone and how she could help. It usually came in the form of her wonderful treats that she would bake for all of us.
