Roseville Transit's $10 summer bus pass gets kids on their way

Roseville Transit is working with other south Placer County transit agencies to sell the popular Summer Youth Bus Pass. The $10 bus pass is available now to children in elementary grades through high school and is good for unlimited rides starting Thursday through Aug. 31 on Roseville Transit's fixed-route service, along with bus rides on Auburn Transit, Lincoln Transit and Placer County Transit.Parents will love the Summer Youth Bus Pass because it gives their children safe and convenient transportation options to summer fun and outdoor recreation spots. It can also be used for rides to their summer jobs.The pass can get youths to all kinds of fun places, including the local swimming pools, movie theaters, bowling alleys, parks, camps, summer school activities and jobs. Roseville Transit also serves the top fun spots in town like Golfland SunSplash, the Roseville Sports Center and Roseville Aquatics Complex at Mahany Park and the Westfield Galleria at Roseville.Not only does the pass provide children with easy, convenient travel around Roseville and Placer County, but it also helps them to learn the value of alternative transportation.
