Ensign, Vandervort united in marriage

Michelle Lynn Ensign and Travis James Vandervort were united in marriage Aug. 21. The Rev. Leonard Stunek, OFM, officiated at the ceremonies held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Saginaw, Michigan. The bride is a graduate of Swan Valley High School in Saginaw, Mich. and Michigan Technological University.She is employed as an account executive for Chempoint in Bellevue, Wash.Her parents are Gary and Jeanette Ensign of Saginaw, Mich.Vandervort is the son of Robert and Sally Vandervort of Folsom and a graduate of Jesuit High School in Sacramento. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame du Lac in Indiana and is employed as a chemical engineer for AHL in Bellevue, Wash.Maid of honor was Janel Hemker of Columbus, Ohio and bridesmaids were Traci Castro of Royal Oak, Mich., Kara Scott of Zeeland, Mich., Jenn Sims of Newport Beach and Elizabeth Howe of Chesapeake, Va.Serving as best man was Charles Vandervort of Seattle, Wash. Groomsmen were Gary Ensign of Saginaw, Mich., Matthew Roberson of Campbell, Michael Dutra of Folsom and Michael Petrich of Dearborn, Mich.Flower girl and ring bearer were Jessica and Jacob Gilbert of Saginaw, Mich.Sue Kapuscinski provided music during the ceremony.Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw, Mich. Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, the couple will make their first home in Bellevue, Wash.
