Chapman University opens Roseville campus

Chapman University will open a new state of the art campus, which will double the space from the Sacramento Howe Avenue campus, in Roseville.The program for working adults is moving to 3001 Lava Ridge Court, located off Eureka Road (directly across from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center).The new campus will be open for business by the end of April. A grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will be held Friday at 9 a.m.In conjunction with the ceremonies, Chapman University will hold their first annual scholarship golf tournament Woodcreek Golf Course at 1 p.m. Golf entries are open to the public.Chapman University, which was founded in 1861, is ranked in the top tier of western regional universities and colleges in the U.S. News and World Report's: America's Best Colleges. Chapman is also one of only 100 American colleges and universities to be recognized by the prestigious Templeton Guide: Colleges that Encourage Character Development.Chapman University's main campus is located in Orange and serves a mostly traditional population. However, it has more than 26 corporate campuses throughout California and Washington.Chapman University offers Bachelor's Degree programs in a wide variety of fields, such as Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Science, Organizational Leadership, and Health Systems.They also offer master's degree programs in Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, Career Counseling, Health Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Criminal Justice and Special Education.Chapman University also offers Professional Development courses that are not part of a degree program but are primarily used for professional advancement. The courses offered can be taken as on-line, independent study or on-site.
