Livermore Park not a dog park

Livermore Park is not a dog park. Folsom Youth Football and Cheer (FYFC) has just started their football season at Livermore Park on Carter Street.The problem is that some people use this field as a dog park and let their dogs do their business all over the field, but don't clean up after them.I just wanted to point out that our kids are running all over this field, laying, falling, doing pushups and sit-ups, crawling on their hands and knees, rolling and getting tackled all over it. When they get the doggie doo-doo on their bodies and clothes, it is disgusting.There is also a very nice grass hill on the side of the field where a lot of us sit in the shade to watch our children practice and scrimmage. We let our younger children play on this hill as well. Some people are letting their dogs do their business on this hill without cleaning it up. The FYFC has even asked the players' parents to leave their own dogs at home during practices and games.I am begging the dog owners, who take their dogs to this field, please clean up after your dog. There are doggie doo-doo bags available at the entrance to the field. Please use them or bring your own bag and clean up after your dog.It is inconsiderate to others to let your dogs mess up this field.Folsom YouthFootball Parent
