Snyder, Kleppe, Ballenger topped Colfax offensive grid statistics

Eric Snyder, Kevin Kleppe and Kris Ballenger were the offensive statistics leaders for the Colfax Falcons this past football season.The Falcons, who went 10-1 on the season and won their third straight Pioneer Valley League championship, were one of the highest scoring teams in the Sacramento area once again.Also, the team's defense allowed just 158 points this past season.Snyder was the Falcons' top rusher as he carried the ball 180 times for 787 yards. Strangely enough, Snyder led the Falcons in rushing in 2003 as he gained 783 yards as a junior.Snyder's 1,570 yards rushing in two varsity seasons are the most back-to-back by a Falcon since Scott Kelley gained 921 in 1997 and 1,092 in 1998.Kleppe also had a good season as he hit on 139 of 251 passes for 2,022 yards and 15 touchdown passes.Ballenger was the top receiver with 41 catches for 604 yards. The tops in receiving yards was Rick Mayo with 614 yards.Junior linebacker Ronnie Davidson led in the tackles department with a total of 90. He was followed by senior Grant Fowler with 80 stops.
