Monopoly coach creates inner circle of investors

In the board game of Monopoly, players buy and sell real estate with play money and little plastic houses. For Cari Lyn Vinci, the game is real life.Vinci, a Roseville real estate agent, teaches investors ways to expand their wealth through an investing club called Team da Vinci's Inner Circle. Vinci, who refers to herself as the Monopoly Coach, created the Inner Circle to help fill a void for her real estate clients."There seems to be lots of information on how to get started in real estate investing and the purpose of the Inner Circle is to take investors to the next level," Vinci said. "I wanted to approach real estate a bit differently. My focus is on investing and helping others to do the same."Vinci is associated with Keller Williams Realty in Roseville, the fifth largest real estate firm in North America. According to Vinci, the company began operation in 1983 primarily in the residential market and began franchising in 1990. With 34,000 agents throughout the country, the Roseville office became the number one market center within the Keller Williams Company for the month of September.Vinci feels the success of Keller Williams is due to the fact that associates embrace the team approach and that they are not just in business for themselves. In addition each associate is offered the opportunity to take advantage of a company profit sharing plan.Vinci grew up in an apartment/ownership and management environment, as investment property was her father's business. Vinci learned about the business by watching and helping her parents with the process of buying, managing and selling.She currently serves on the board of directors for the Sacramento Valley Real Estate Investor Club and helped spearhead their program development.Vinci was inspired by Gary Keller's upcoming book, "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor," a handbook to create wealth via real estate investing. Once the book is released, Vinci will be an accredited trainer in Northern California.For her Inner Circle members, Vinci has planned quarterly meetings for members to attend and be provided with an opportunity to network, gain additional knowledge on real estate trends, asset protection, tax loopholes and other topics pertinent to investors.Inner Circle members will have the opportunity to work with Team da Vinci, a group of advisors representing all aspects of the real estate business including representatives from title, mortgage and insurance companies.Teri Edwards from Placer Title Company is a Team da Vinci member and has been in the real estate industry for 25 years.
