Jerry Novotny

Jerry L. Novotny of Yuba City died July 20, 2005 in Rideout Hospital of natural causes. He was 61.Born Sept. 4, 1943 in St. Paul, Minn., Mr. Novotny was a truck driver and a carpenter and formerly worked for the railroad. He also formerly sang with a local country and western band.He was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 20 years.Survivors include his wife, Linda Garrison Novotny, of Yuba City; daughters, Christine Fink, of Wheatland, and Becky Garrison, Linda Duenas and Amber McFadden, all of Yuba City; sons, Dan Novotny and Ryan Novotny, both of Idaho; and 13 grandchildren.Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Faith Tabernacle Church, Spiva St., Yuba City, with Pastor Bill Gibson officiating. Interment will be at Sutter Cemetery. Holycross Memorial is handling arrangements.
